Art & Creative Wellness Classes
At Sway Studios, we offer flexible, intimate classes for adults, expats, and families. Our sessions combine art, mindfulness, and expressive creativity, all set in beautiful, rotating locations along the Costa del Sol in Alicante.

One-on-one Art Classes – These classes can be tailored to your specific interests.
Group Art Classes [2 to 5 people] – perfect for families or small groups of friends who are wanting to do something different and build their creative skills.
Mummy & Me Art Classes – Beautiful bonding sessions where mother and child create art together. A very memorable experience for the whole family!
At Sway Studios, art classes are thoughtfully designed to suit a range of creative needs and experience levels. Each session lasts 1 hour, (the first class is always going to be 1 hour, as it is an assessment class, there after classes shall be 1.5 hours. Most sessions will include a guided subject matter to explore, though if you have a specific image, theme, or medium in mind, we welcome that too — especially during one-on-one classes, where more personalised attention allows for deeper creative freedom. We also offer online art classes for people who are always on the move!
Sway Studios offers art classes that cover the following mediums; sketching with pencils and charcoal, painting (watercolours, gouache, oils and acrylic - with paintbrushes, fingers or palette knives) and coloured pencils - you name it we can probably offer it!

Art Classes: €20 per 1 hour session (grouped according to age)
Kids Creative (Ages 4–10): €20 per 1 hour session
Mummy / Daddy and Me Bonding Art Sessions: €30 per session
One-on-one sessions: €20 (1.5hr online)–€40 (1.5 to 2 hours face-to-face)

Social Club of the Urbanisation
Some classes take place in the inviting social club of our urbanisation in Franc Espinos. This bright and comfortable setting offers a relaxed environment that encourages focus, creativity, and connection.Cafés Along the Costa del Sol
We also bring art outdoors with sessions hosted at select local cafés along the Costa del Sol. These experiences combine the joy of creating with the charm of coastal life — enjoy the Mediterranean light, vibrant atmosphere, and a fresh coffee or juice as you paint and draw. It’s a unique opportunity to capture the beauty of your surroundings while engaging in a social and inspiring setting.
Online Classes
We realise that people are always on the move and that face-to-face classes are not always a possibility. Online classes offer greater flexibility without losing that attention to detail.Classes are held in English, with basic Spanish support if needed.

About the artist
Tracy Marais is a South African artist and designer with over 19 years experience. Her creative journey began in Durban, where she was formally trained from the age of 14 under the mentorship of acclaimed artist Steven Shooter. Tracy’s work blends emotion, storytelling, and freedom of expression — and she brings that same energy into every class. Now based in Alicante, she invites others to explore their creativity in a safe, open-minded environment by the sea.
